Vinca minor, Trailing Periwinkle, Creeping Periwinkle or Creeping Myrtle groundcover plants, are a fast growing excellent evergreen ground cover for full sun shade and semi-shaded areas. Ground cover vinca minor produces dark green oval-shaped foliage and conspicuous blue flowers in early Spring. Combines with Pachysandra. Vinca minor vines grow low to the ground.
Trailing periwinkle is adaptable to most any soil, but prefers fairly good soil. Vinca minor is easier to control than many other creeping groundcover plants. Vinca is a shade loving evergreen ground cover plant. Plant in shade or full sun.
